In the village of Urozhainoye in the Soviet district, local residents, influenced by alcohol, stole an expensive Lexus SUV and got into an accident, according to the prosecutor's office of Crimea.
"In September 2024, the defendants, while in the village of Urozhainoye, while under the influence of alcohol, conspired to steal a Lexus car," the statement said.
As noted by the authorities, the friends climbed into the unlocked car, started it with the button, and drove out of the village. The driver, unable to handle the vehicle, overturned it.
The damage to the owner of the Lexus amounted to nearly million rubles. The prosecutor's office reported that the culprits will face trial.
