In St. Petersburg, Russian police officers have brought a famous car racer and collector of Ferrari sports cars to court. Joshua Kartu, who was previously detained at Pulkovo Airport, is currently facing charges related to fraud involving binary options. The court will determine whether he will be arrested and extradited to the United States.
Kartu, a Canadian citizen and popular blogger, has a large following on social media with over 700,000 subscribers. He often shares photos of his interactions with celebrities and models, as well as his travels on private planes.
The Russian authorities, in collaboration with Interpol and local police, arrested Kartu based on an international warrant issued by US authorities. He is now awaiting the court's decision on his fate.
